Bass Communion is a solo project of English musician Steven Wilson, best known for his lead role in the rock band Porcupine Tree and now a highly successful solo artist.
Bass Communion (I) was the first studio album, originally released in 1998 on 3rd Stone Records. Boasting Theo Travis’ Soprano Saxophone on Drugged and Soundscapes from Robert Fripp on Drugged 2.
Now, in 2022, this beautifully melodic, dream like composition of tracks has been remastered by Steven Wilson himself and will be released on CD in a crisp Digifile case, with polished artwork taken from the vinyl release in 2018 on Hidden Art.
Remastered, new artwork and now including the brilliant extra track, No News Is Good News, we’re so happy with how this CD looks and sounds. With a limited run, we expect this to sell out quickly.
